Ranchi: There is a possibility of rain in the state on Thursday and Friday.
On Sunday cloud cover was reported in the state. The weather station has predicted that on February 24 and 25, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at isolated places in the state. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms on 24 February for which a yellow alert has been issued.
People have started getting relief from the cold as barring morning and evening the scorchingness of the day’s sun has started coming due to this the minimum temperature in many districts of the state has gone above 10 degree celsius and the maximum temperature has gone above 25 degree celsius. The Meteorological Department has told in its forecast that in the last 24 hours, the weather was dry in Jharkhand. During this the maximum temperature was reported at Daltonganj at 31 degree celsius. Only Garhwa and Giridih recorded the minimum temperature below 10 degree celsius.
