Rain alert in Jharkhand till 20: Mercury drops by 4 degree Celsius

Ranchi: It has been raining incessantly in Ranchi for the last 36 hours during this a record 26.6 mm of rain has been recorded in the capital. At the same time, a drop of four degrees has been recorded in the maximum
temperature.

The maximum temperature of Ranchi has been recorded at 27.7 degrees and the minimum is 21.1 degrees. The city’s maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees on Saturday. Scientists at the local weather department said that the low pressure passing through Telangana has affected Jharkhand and due to this there has been a sudden change in the weather of Jharkhand.

For the next two days, there is a possibility of rain in the entire Jharkhand including Ranchi. Particularly in the central and northern parts of Jharkhand, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places.

On Tuesday there is a possibility of moderate rain in the entire state while a thunderstorm warning has been issued across the state till October 20. As per the weather department due to the rains, there will be a drop in temperature of 3 to 4 degrees across the state. Cold weather is expected as the temperature drops.

From October 21 the weather will be cleared in Jharkhand as the clouds will break and the sun will shine. After this, a slight increase in temperature will be recorded. The weather station has predicted the possibility of rain in some parts of Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Khunti, Palamu, Deoghar, Dhanbad districts over the course of the next two days.
