Ranchi: The performance of two blocks of Ranchi in Covid-19 vaccination has been excellent as a result of which Silli and Ormanjhi have become the Block of the Week by performing brilliantly in Block Vaccination.
So far 74 percent of the people in these two blocks have been given the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine. During the meeting of the District Covid-19 Task Force, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Chhavi Ranjan reviewed the vaccination work block wise. On the good performance of Silli and Ormanjhi Block, the Deputy Commissioner praised the concerned BDO and team fiercely. While giving encouragement, the Deputy Commissioner directed to complete the target at the earliest.
On giving the first dose of the vaccine to 74 percent of the people in the Covid-19 vaccination work, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the work of Ormanjhi and Silli BDOs. The officials that the Block Level Task Force meeting is being held continuously, people are being mobilized through JSLPS, as well as vaccination is being given to the people by reaching small pockets through mobile vaccination.
The DC said that all BDOs should focus more on mobile vaccination, providing mobile vans where necessary. The Deputy Commissioner was instructed to make a list of people who have taken the first dose and make arrangements for their second dose.
After Ormanjhi and Silli, Lampung block has also performed well. So far 72 percent people in this block have been given the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine. The DC has directed other blocks to further improve the work of vaccination till Diwali.
