Raghubar encourages youth to come forward to make skilled and capable Jharkhand’

Ranchi, Jul 15: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das gave the slogan of ‘skilled Jharkhand capable Jharkhand’ to the youth of the state on the occasion of World Skill Development Day.

Addressing a function organised at the Project Building here where he launched the Deendayal Upadhyay Mega Skill Centre he said that all round holistic development is the vision of the Prime Minister which is aimed at increasing the employment opportunities along with the development and increasing the purchasing power of the people.

 

The Chief Minister said that the state government is spending a sum of Rs 700 crore on the scheme which was also kept in the annual budget of the state. He said that it was a priority for the government to make 1.5 crore youth of the state skilled and said that only in those ares which have employment generating probabilities  in those sectors only the skill development training would be provided .

 

The Chief Minister said that employment is the biggest concern for the youth of the state and keeping the concern in mind the Prime Minister set up a separate skill development ministry. He said that the initiative of the government is aimed at ensuring the participation of the youth in the nation building.

He said that 15 women each in 32,000 villages of the state are being skilled by the coordinators of Mahila Udyami Board which would help to creat 4.80 lakh skilled woman who would become the new face of ruarl Jharkhand, moreover the volunteers of the panchayat secretariats are also helping 100 youths to get skill development training.
