Ranchi : According to the Election Commission, the responsibility of 519 polling booths has been given to women election workers. Along with this, in the first phase, 14 such polling stations have been created, where the disabled election workers will conduct the voting.
According to the data of the Commission, in the first phase, all 7595 polling stations will be model polling stations where voting arrangements will be made. In the fourth phase, voting is to be held on 4 seats of Jharkhand. This includes Khunti, Singhbhum, Lohardaga and Palamu parliamentary seats.
According to the data, a maximum number of women election workers will be seen handling the responsibility of voting in Khunti. If we look at the booths run by women by the Election Commission, 122 such polling stations have been set up in Singhbhum, 210 in Khunti, 115 in Lohardaga and 72 in Palamu, where all the polling personnel will be women.
According to Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar, 9874 VVPATs, 9114 CU and 9114 BU will be used in the first phase of elections. Giving information to the media persons, the CEO said that in the first phase, 639 polling stations have been set up in the four parliamentary constituencies and 6956 polling stations have been set up in the rural areas, where voting will be held from 7 am to 5 pm.
After the start of voting at 7 am, the estimated status of voting up to the first 2 hours will be made public on the Voter Turnout App two and a half hours later at 9:30 am. After that, the voting percentage will be released every 2 hours till 7 pm. After that, close-up poll data will start appearing on this app at 12 midnight. After scrutiny the next day, the final data will be visible on the app by 12 midnight.
