Police stopped Panchayat Secretariat volunteers going to gherao Secretariat for various demands

Ranchi: Under the banner of the Panchayat Secretariat Volunteer Association, Panchayat Secretariat volunteers from all the districts of the state have arrived Wednesday to gherao the Dhurva Project building.

Police stopped the Panchayat Secretariat volunteers who came out in the form of a procession near Dhurva roundabout. Although they are trying to move forward. These Panchayat Secretariat Swayamsevak Sangh have come out to surround the Secretariat with their five point demand.

Panchayat Secretariat Swayamsevak Sangh had been sitting on strike in front of Raj Bhavan for a long time regarding their demands. Today they have come to gherao to convey their voice to the government. In this regard, Sangh said that we have been trying to convey our five-point demand to the government for a long time, but the government is not paying attention to it. The government is not ready to accept our demand. The Sangh says that we are not going to agree until our demands are considered.

According to Chandradeep, State President of Panchayat Secretariat Swayamsevak Sangh, our agitation and demonstration will continue until our demands are accepted by the government. He said that we have been sitting near Raj Bhavan for three months.

The government is not listening to us. If we have to protest for 90 days or 900 days, we will do it. He said that for the last four years, we have been repeatedly appealing to the government for increase in pay scale and honorarium but the government is not listening.
