Ranchi: The jawans of the district police who have defeated Coronavirus have come forward to donate their plasma for other needy patients who are battling the deadly Coronavirus.
So far a total of 54 policemen have defeated Coronavirus and those who would be declared medically fit for donating plasma from them only the plasma would be collected. A mega camp would be organised at RIMS on Friday where those would be eligible they would be donating their plasma.
Encouraging the jawans for their noble gesture Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan said that they were fortunate as they have got an opportunity to save the lives of others. He asked them to come forward to help someone’s life and exuded happiness that a big group of plasma donors is available at the present moment. He said that initially when the jawans were being detected positive than it had become challenging for the administration but now with their recovery the challenge has been converted into opportunity.
Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha said that the jawans who have defeated Coronavirus have now become role model for those who are battling the disease. He asked that it was due to prayers of the people that jawans had managed to defeat Coronavirus.
Rural SP Naushad Aalam and president of Policemen Association Imran Khan also encouraged the jawans for their decision.
