Ranchi: Police have arrested three youths associated with the brown sugar business. Taking action, the police team led by Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy caught the three youths near Vidyanagar bridge of Sukhdevnagar police station area. Which includes Mukesh Rai, Mukesh Tirkey and Ranjan Kumar Singh.
Police have recovered 1.50 grams of brown sugar and many other items from them. The three arrested youths had prior criminal history. City SP Rajkumar Mehta gave this information in a press conference on Saturday.
City SP said that information was received about illegal buying and selling of banned drugs by some people near Vidyanagar Bada Bridge. After which this action was taken by the police. Apart from brown sugar, Rs 20500 cash, two mobile phones and a bike were also seized from the arrested accused.
