Ranchi: Youth Kabaddi Series is going on at Harvansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium of Khelgaon under the aegis of the Jharkhand Kabaddi Association.
As part of the series, there was a match between Vijaynagar Heroes of Uttar Pradesh and Aravalli Arrows of Rajasthan. Both the teams took an aggressive approach in the challenger round match.
Vijaynagar Heroes of Uttar Pradesh defeated Aravalli Arrows of Rajasthan in the last few moments. Vijayanagar Heroes 54 and Aravalli Arrows 50 had in the final score.
Varun Bhati (Vijaynagar Heroes) got the title of Best Raider in the match with 30 points. Chetan Kumar (Aravalli Arrows) got the title of best defender with 7 points. The amazing title of Kabaddi was given to Amit Nagar (Vijaynagar Heroes). Best Technical Official Award was given to Rakhi Kumari.
As the chief guest, Gomia MLA Dr Lambodar Mahto rewarded the players and said that the players of Jharkhand in hockey, archery and cricket have brought laurels to the name of Jharkhand in the country and the world. It is expected that in Kabaddi also players will make Jharkhand’s name bright in the world.
