If we want to see our country as a developed nation, then it is necessary that there should be proper and integrated development of all classes, groups and sections.

The Chief Minister said that many problems of tribals, Dalits and backward classes in many parts of the country including Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Bengal have not been resolved even after 75 years of the country’s independence. He said that his government is trying to solve their problems and pave the way for them to move forward. Organizing special functions for tribals in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh is part of this episode he added.

The Chief Minister said that the tribal community has been playing an important role since ages. This is a class that has struggled for centuries. Today, our government and the government of Chhattisgarh are making continuous efforts towards taking this community forward he said.

Hemant Soren said that Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are brothers as there are many similarities between both the states and large tribal population resides in both the states. If you go to some parts of these two states, then you will not know which is the area of Chhattisgarh and which is of Jharkhand he said adding that his feature brings both the states very close to each other.

The Chief Minister said that about 28-30 percent population of Jharkhand is tribal but no special programs were organized for the tribals ever after the formation of a separate state. For the first time this year, his government organized a grand program on the occasion of World Tribal Day.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the function as the chief guest. We organized this event inspired by the National Tribal Dance Festival held in this state so that the country can show the identity of the tribals in front of the world with full strength he said.
