Angered by ED notice, Jharkhand CM asks tribals in Gujarat not to vote for BJP in elections

Ranchi: Miffed over the ED notice Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has asked the tribal people of Gujarat not to vote for the BJP in the forthcoming assembly election. He gave the call standing at the gate of his official residence while addressing party workers who turned up to express their solidarity with Soren after the ED summoned him to question in case of laundering of money earned by illegal mining.

Gujrat Mein Ek Bhi Adivasi Seat BJP Ko Na Jaye (not a single tribal seat should go to BJP), he said while giving the call.

Earlier, Soren said in the four by-elections in Jharkhand, the BJP could not win a single one. He asked the party workers in Jharkhand to ensure rooting out the BJP in the forthcoming parliamentary and assembly elections. He said after branding that the party has a feudal mindset and those associated with it are businessmen, who do not know about giving anything to anyone like the people of Jharkhand.

Soren during his speech said the JMM government in Jharkhand will complete its term and not allow the BJP to destabilize a democratically elected government. He said when the time comes his party workers will court arrest in such a way to protest against the misuse of constitutional institutions by BJP that the jail will have no space to keep them.

The Office of Enforcement Directorate and the BJP headquarters were fortified after ED issued a summons to the Chief Minister. On which he asked whether the ED and BJP are afraid of the Jharkhandi people and added if the Jharkhandis come into action they will not get space to hide their heads.

During his speech warned against any attempt to underestimate tribal strength saying that their forefathers have fought against adversity.
