Ranchi: Additional Secretary of the Union Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Food and Public Distribution cum Central Officer-in-Charge for Aspirational District Ranchi Nidhi Khare held a review meeting over the progress in the implementation of schemes.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Chhavi Ranjan and Deputy Development Commissioner Ranchi, Vishal Sagar gave detailed information about the work being done in the Ranchi district through a PowerPoint presentation and also apprised about the implementation of many innovative works. Information was also given about the efforts being made to improve various parameters.
During the meeting, Nidhi Khare gave necessary directions to the concerned officials regarding the data of NFHS. Taking information about the work being done under the aspirational district to remove malnutrition she directed to conduct complete profiling and audit of the children. She directed to do profiling of both mother and child regarding maternal and child health.
She directed the civil surgeon to take appropriate action regarding ultrasound at the block level for sex determination in the district. While reviewing the health indicators during the meeting, she appreciated the projects like ANC Kit, Model PHC, and Model CHC.
During the review of education, Nidhi Khare directed to train the teachers to improve the overall learning in the school. She further directed to pay special attention to the indicators of agriculture so that better results can be obtained. She also asked the team of the Aspirational District to prepare and submit proposals for new projects.
