Ranchi: Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has received the invitation for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony.
Jharkhand BJP officials handed over the invitation letter to Dhoni.
BJP’s Ranchi District General Secretary Varun Kumar said that State BJP’s Organization Minister Karmaveer Singh invited Mahi.
He has been requested to come to the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Temple organized in Ayodhya on 22 January.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni expressed his gratitude for the invitation.
Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony is being held in Ayodhya on 22 January.
On the same day, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shri Ram Lalla will sit in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple under construction in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Ram temple amid Vedic chanting.
Preparations are being made for this.
Only a select few people, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and some Union ministers, have been invited to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony.
To avoid any kind of chaos in Ayodhya on January 22, people have appealed to light lamps in their homes and celebrate the festival.
After January 22, people can go to see Ramlala.
After a long struggle, finally in the year 2019, the bench of the then Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi of the Supreme Court had given the verdict in favor of Ram Janmabhoomi.
The court accepted that the disputed land is the palace of Lord Ram and a temple should be built there.
The court had directed the government to provide some other land to the Muslim side for building a mosque.
