Monsoon weakens again in Jharkhand

Ranchi:  It has been raining intermittently in Jharkhand for the last few days. Similar weather will continue in the state till July 27.

The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder at some places in the state on July 27. Around nine mm of rain has been recorded in the capital Ranchi on Saturday. The rainfall in Jamshedpur was around 15 mm.

In some parts of East Singhbhum district, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder in the next one to three hours. Clouds are visible in the sky in Ranchi as well. Along with this, the possibility of rain with thunder has been expressed in some parts of Dhanbad, Giridih, Gumla, Jamtara and Ramgarh districts. There is also a possibility of lightning in these areas, regarding which the Meteorological Department has appealed to be alert.

Once again a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Jharkhand will not benefit much from this, but there is a possibility of rain after noon with thunder in some areas on Friday and Saturday. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of strong wind during this period.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand has once again spoken about the weakening of the weather. Cyclonic circulation is passing through Andhra Pradesh and Odisha region. Being away from Jharkhand, it is also not getting much benefit.

Due to less-than-average rains in Jharkhand, both the Bichhra and Chhinta in the fields are starting to deteriorate. In many places, the fields have not even received proper moisture. The State Government Agriculture Department has also sought a report from the district.

The Indian Meteorological Department had forecast rain after July 15, but the weather took such a turn that it rained less.
