Ranchi: There is a possibility of more rains and thunderstorms in the state during the week ahead. As per the weather department, Monsoon Trough is passing through Ganganagar, Naran Agra, Varanasi, Ranchi, Digha and from there towards the East Central Bay of Bengal.
Apart from this, a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over the East-central adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, a Low-Pressure Area is likely to form over West-central and adjoining North-West Bay of Bengal off Odisha- West Bengal coasts around September 20, 2022 and it’s effect will be seen in many districts of Jharkhand.
However, change in weather is possible due to changes in wind direction. As per the weather department on September 19 there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at many places in the state.
