Ranchi: The three-day Coal India Medical Conference organized by Central Coalfields Limited ended Sunday. The conference which was inaugurated by CMD CCL PM Prasad along with Director (Pers) Coal India Vinay Ranjan witnessed over 160 doctors brainstorming and sharing their ideas and experiences.
The theme of the conference was “Discovering Medical Challenges in Post Covid Treatment and Resilience” Around 20 eminent guest speakers including Dr Professor SK Sarin from ILBS Hyderabad, Dr Rohini Handa from Indraprastha Apolo hospital shared their experiences. 26 doctors presented their papers on various topics.
During the valedictory session winners in various categories were felicitated by ED CMS Coal India PK Behera, CMS CCL DKL Chowhan, CMS CCL Ratnesh Jain, CMS CCL Utpala Chakravarty, Mita Paul, and CMS WCL Sujata Sirmukaddam.
Dr Tanisha Ojha from CCL won the first prize in the paper presentation, Dr Jitendra Kumar in Live case study and Dr Arindam Banerjee from ECL won the chairman’s award. CMS CCL Dr DKL Chowhan, CMS I/C Gandhinagar Dr Ratnesh Jain, CMS Naisarai Dr VK Singh along with organising committee played a vital role in the success of the event.
