Ranchi: A meeting was organized to make Mission Indradhanush a success in the Balumath Community Health Centre premises. District Program Officer Ved Prakash reviewed several works including Family Planning Fortnight, Maternity Health Scheme, Child Health Scheme, Leprosy Scheme, being run by the Health Department.
On the other hand, Medical Officer in-charge Dr. Suresh Ram said Mission Indradhanush will be run from August 7 to August 12. Under this mission, all the missed vaccines will be given to children below 5 years and pregnant women. He said family planning fortnight is being run, under which 8 women have been sterilized so far. He appealed to the health workers to make more people aware in their respective areas so that more and more people can take advantage of the family planning fortnight.
On the other hand, Block Program Officer Mrityunjay Kumar said 16 sub-health centres and health centres are operational in Balumath. The health centre which has poor performance in all the schemes being run by the department.
DM Umesh Prasad, ANM, Premlata Kumari, Sunita Kumari, Kanti Kumari, Lalita Kumari, Rinku Kumari, Malti Kumari, Sunita Sinha, BTT and BDM were present in this meeting.
