Investigation of mango horticulture and coupe construction scheme in Gumla

Ranchi: Under the MNREGA scheme in various panchayats of Ghaghra block, Birsa Green Village Scheme’s mango gardening, well construction, housing scheme and construction of Anganwadi center were investigated by MNREGA’s Joint Secretary Chandra Bhushan and State Coordinator Ranjit Kumar in Gumla on Friday.

In the presence of BDO Vishnu Dev Kachchhap, a two-member team came to investigate the MGNREGA scheme, in the Chundri Panchayat of Ghaghra block, under Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Mango Horticulture, Devaki Panchayat Sheikh Sartaj, Birsa Muni Oraon, Divya Oraon, Shukra Oraon And investigated the well construction of Sahabir Oraon of Dardag village of Chapak Panchayat and construction of Anganwadi center in Mile village.

MNREGA Secretary also took information about the benefits of the scheme from the beneficiaries. During the inspection of the scheme by a two-member team, information was taken from the beneficiaries and labourers on payment of wages, scheme amount and other points.

MNREGA Joint Secretary Chandra Bhushan and State Coordinator Ranjit Kumar were informed by Vishnu Dev Kachchhap that under Virsa Harit Gram, construction of mango horticulture is being done on a total of 700 acres in Ghaghra block in the financial year 2023-24. Along with this, various schemes are being run to provide 100 days of employment to the villagers under MNREGA. The villagers can get the benefits of basic schemes along with employment.

BDO Vishnu Dev Kachhap, BPO Ajay Lakra, Housing Coordinator Ashok Kumar along with employment servants and beneficiaries of the scheme were present.
