Ranchi: A minor girl missing from Sukhdevnagar area has been recovered from the red light area of Uttar Pradesh.
The minor girl was sent to a female pimp by her own neighbour.
In the raid done with the UP police, many other girls trapped near the female pimp have also been rescued.
On August 13, the relatives of the minor girl lodged an FIR in the Sukhdev Nagar police station regarding the disappearance of their daughter.
In the registered FIR, a person named Jwala Prasad was accused of missing the minor.
Jawala Prasad used to live in the neighborhood of the minor.
When the Sukhdev Nagar police got involved in the investigation of the case, they came to know that the minor has been sold to a female pimp in Kasia Bazar, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
A team of Sukhdev Nagar police station reached Kasia Bazar in UP and informed the local police about the whole matter.
The UP police also had some information about the woman about whom information was given to the UP police, in which it was learned that she is involved in the business of prostitution and keeps girls from outside with her.

After getting concrete information, the Ranchi police along with the UP police raided the woman’s hideout.
From where not only the minor of Ranchi was recovered, but there were also some other girls who were brought from different cities.
At present the female pimp is in the custody of the UP police.
