Ranchi: Members of different Durga Puja organising committees met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence here and requested him to inaugurate their pandals.
First, a delegation of the Panch Mandir Durga Puja Committee met the Chief Minister and urged him to inaugurate the pandal on September 30. Those present on the occasion included the president of the organising committee Manoj Kumar Pandey and others.
Later members of RR Sporting Club Ratu Road Ranchi met the Chief Minister and also requested to inaugurate their pandal on Friday. They also present an idol of the Goddess to the Chief Minister. The members were led by the patron of the club Vicky Yadav.
