Maoists will celebrate martyrs week in Jharkhand from July 28 to August 3

Ranchi: Communist Party of India (CPI) Maoists have announced to celebrate Martyrs Week from 28 July to 3 August. To regain their lost strength in Jharkhand, Maoists may carry out violent incidents during Martyr’s Week.

In memory of Charu Mazumdar and Kanhaiya Chatterjee, the founders of the Naxalite organization, Martyr’s Memorial Week has been celebrated. Along with this, the Naxalites who were killed by police bullets throughout the year are also called martyrs and pay tribute to the martyr memorial built by the Naxalites in the interior areas in their memory.

CPI Maoists celebrate Martyrs’ Week every year in memory of their comrades killed in police encounters.
