CPI Maoists getting disillusioned with their organization, 54 surrendered in three years

Ranchi: Communist Party of India (CPI) Maoists are getting disenchanted with their own organization. Maoist Rebels are returning to the mainstream leaving violence on a large scale.

From the year 2020 till now, 54 CPI Maoist rebels have surrendered in Jharkhand. In these, many big faces are included, from the member of the Guerrilla Squad to the Special Area Committee (SAC) member.

Maoists have become weak due to continuous campaigns by Security Forces. Also, there is an effect of the government’s policy and Operation Nayi Disha Ek Nayi Pahal. Under this, along with surrendering, the full amount of the reward is handed over to Rebels.
