Ranchi(IANS) : Maoist Guerrillas which had a presence in rural areas made their presence felt in state capital Ranchi on Tuesday by putting up posters near Governor’s house.
A Maoist organization, Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC) paste poster on the boundary wall of Deo Kamal hospital which is adjacent to the Governor house. The poster speaks against the state central, state and National Investigating Agency (NIA).
It has also threatened the coal companies functioning in the state. “ Farmers and labourers unite against those who are trying to snatch Jal, jungle and jameen. Those who speak about Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat see the condition of the displaced people. Politicians, legislators MPs all are thieves and they in side of the capitalist class” says the poster.
The posters have asked the Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and NTPC to stop mining on cultivable land and making land barren. It has also asked the CCL, BCCL to stop mining and transportation work.
Ranchi police after getting information about the poster swung into action and removed the posters. Ranchi Police is also going through the CCTV footage to find out people who put the posters in heart of the city.
On Monday, TSPC had put posters on the outskirts of Ranchi.
Maoist Guerrillas are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
