Ranchi: Ultra of the proscribed CPI Maoists pasted posters in several villages falling under Tamar Police Station area of this district.
Police said that the ultras had pasted their posters in Pundidiri, Sorlong, Edalpidi, Mankidih etc. The posters were spotted by the villagers early in the morning after which alerted the police.
Through the posters, the ultras have demanded not to make poor tribals scapegoats by making them ‘special police officers ‘. Further, they have also demanded to remove the police camps from schools, panchayat buildings and healthcare centres. All the posters were later seized by the policemen.
