Ranchi: A five year old child lost his life while another one sustained serious injuries as they got inside a machine inside a water filtering plant located under Angada Police Station area of this district.
Police said that the deceased has been identified as Kunal Mahto while another five and a half year old child Adarsh Raj has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted at RIMS for treatment.
Villagers said that a group of children were playing the water filtering plant when suddenly two of them went inside the ‘bridge machine’ which was on due to which Kunal was killed on the spot.
When the workers inside the plant realized about the incident they stopped the machine and took out the boys. Police have sent the body of the deceased boy for post-mortem.
