Ranchi: Cops of Sukdev Nagar police station have arrested Jassi Lohia in connection with a molestation case involving a minor girl. The complaint was filed by Aarti Khatri, who alleged that Jassi, a resident of Saveshwari Nagar, has been harassing her daughter while she travels to and from school.
Aarti reported that on November 19, Jassi molested her daughter again, but she did not inform the police at that time. Additionally, she claimed that Jassi had made inappropriate advances towards her daughter back in April and had threatened her with acid attacks if she pursued further legal action.
The situation has escalated with serious allegations against the police as well. Parvinder Kaur, a resident of Saveshwari Nagar in the Bajra area, accused the station officer of forcibly entering her home and verbally abusing her and her family. In her complaint, she stated that on the night of December 19, she heard loud banging at her door.
Upon investigating, she found Sukdev Nagar Station Officer Manoj Kumar, along with his colleagues and Vinay Khatri (a resident of Metro Gali Satu Road), inside her house. Parvinder alleged that they behaved inappropriately with her, her husband, brother-in-law, and younger sister. She also claimed that Vinay Khatri molested her and that the station officer and his associates disrespected her husband and brother-in-law by pulling off their turbans.
