In another Durga Puja Pandal at Rajasthan Mitra Mandal in Upper Bazar is made with Cashew and Nuts showing women empowerment and to eradicate drugs and narcotics from Society. Organiser of Rajasthan Mitra Mandal said, On Sixth day of Durga Puja Festival Ranchi Member of Parliament Sanjay Seth, Hatia MLA Navin Jaiswal and Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Majhi will officially inaugurate the Puja Pandal.
In the centre of Ranchi City Chandra Shekhar Azad Durga Puja Pandal is decorated with the theme of Bharat Mata and Giant Shivalinga which is visited by thousands of Hindu Devotees daily. The World Famous Ganga Aarti is displayed at the entrance of Chandra Shekhar Azad Durga Puja Pandal. On the Sixth Day of Puja All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) President Sudesh Mahato, Former Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Parkash inaugurated Durga Puja Pandal. Organiser Ramesh Singh along with hundreds of volunteers are continuously working to manage the crowd. Organiser said 25 Lakh Rupees collected for Durga Puja Festival. These puja pandals have been opened for the general public. Many puja pandals will be opened. In some of these puja pandals, the message of ‘karma is dharma’ is being given and at some places. OCC Club Durga Puja Pandal is made at Bangla School campus.
This year Puja Pandal is made with the theme of Alpana and Rangoli and arts and crafts can be seen in the Pandal. There will be lighting arrangements in these umbrellas during the puja, which will further enhance the beauty of Alpana.
The statue of Mother Goddess on the left side of the pandal is giving the message of nature conservation and karma is religion. The main pandal is orange in color, with a Kalash installed on its roof. It is made using cloth, fiber sheet and cotton. Glass painting has been done to specifically depict Alpana. 36 umbrellas have been installed around the pandal. They are made from yarn and laser cut fiber sheets. Here, a Trinetra of Maa Durga is made, which is giving the message to the people to stay away from wrong deeds.
The puja pandal located in Kokar is telling that this time the mother is coming in an elephant. Therefore, devotees will enter this pandal through the middle of the trunk of the elephant. Artisans from Medinipur, Bengal are giving final touches to the pandal. This year’s puja pandal at Ranchi Railway Station is dedicated to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Pandal construction has been completed. Gate light has been installed for attractive electrical decoration.
Lighting will be switched on, for which light decorators have been called from Kolkata. Shri Durga Puja Committee’s pandal on the lines of Tungnath Temple of Uttarakhand Ranchi is ready to organize Durga Utsav. Shri Durga Puja Committee Bhutaha Talab, preparations for the haunted pond are also in the final stages.
Patron of the committee, Nand Kishore Singh Chandel said that this year the pandal has been constructed on the lines of Tungnath Temple of Uttarakhand and said that the Chief Minister Hemant Soren also has an association with this place. It will be inaugurated by patron Kishore Sahu on Saptami day. Sanjay Singh (Lallu), Karan Singh, Naman Bhartiya and others help in making the puja successful. Devotees enter through the trunk of the elephant.
Kokar Durga Puja Committee is telling that the puja pandal located at Kokar is coming in the elephant this time. Therefore, devotees will enter this pandal through the middle of the trunk of the elephant.
Artisans from Medinipur, Bengal are giving final touches to the pandal. Kokar Puja Pandal is known for its attraction lights. In such a situation, archways have been built from Kokar Chowk to Distillery Pool. Special mechanical lighting has also been done at the entrance of the pandal. Glimpses of crocodile, monkey, skeleton and ghost are visible in the lighting.
