Madhupur Bypolls: RJD leaders to participate in nomination of Mahagathbandhan candidate

Ranchi: Leaders of the state unit of the Rashtriya Janata Dal will be participating in the nomination of mahagathbandhan’s candidate for the bypolls polls of Madhupur seat of Jharkhand assembly.

Addressing a press conference here state RJD chief Abhay Kumar Singh said that in the nomination of cabinet minister and JMM leader Hafizul Hasan which will be held on March 25 the RJD will be also participating. He said that his party would be working with dedication to ensure the victory of the Minister.

Over the political happenings in Bihar he said that the treatment meted out to leader of opposition in Bihar Vidhan Sabha Tejaswi Yadav on Tuesday is shameful.He said that peaceful protest were going on when on the  directions of the centre and as part of a conspiracy Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ordered for stone pelting and Lathi charge on the senior leaders of the RJD including Tejaswi Yadav.

He said for the first time in history of Bihar Vidhansabha police was called from outside for beating up the MLAs while the Chief Minister remained a mute spectator.

He claimed that even ill treatment was meted out to the women legislators of the party. He said that in the incident hundreds of RJD leaders and workers have sustained injuries. Abhay Singh said that over the happenings in Bihar the Jharkhand unit of RJD will burn the efficiency of Bihar Chief Minister in all district headquarters.
