Ranchi: The weather department has predicted light to medium range of rainfall in different areas of the state over the course of next few days. The state capital of Ranchi throughout the day on Friday witnessed mild cloud cover and in two short spells light to medium range of rainfall took place.
The weather station has said that the Monsoon turf line was passing through Medninagar while a low pressure area has been formed over South Bihar due to which in different districts over the next two three days light to medium range of rainfall will take place. In the last 24 hours a maximum rainfall of 46.7 mm was recorded in Dumri of Giridih district while temperature wise Chaibasa was the hottest at 36.4 degrees while Medninagar was the coolest at 22.4 degrees.
