Legends League Cricket will be held in Ranchi from November 8, 100 international cricketers will gather

Ranchi: There will be a gathering of international cricketers at JSCA in Ranchi. JSCA has got the hosting rights for five league matches of the upcoming season of Legends League Cricket. More than 100 international cricketers will take the field in these matches.

Legends League Cricket has announced that matches will be played in five cities of India in the upcoming season. This includes Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Visakhapatnam and Surat. The tournament will be held from 18 November to 9 December 2023.

There will be 19 matches in the second season of the franchise event of Legends League Cricket. According to sources, the season will start with the first five matches at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. Legends League Cricket aims to provide an unprecedented experience to cricket fans in the selected cities.

It is noteworthy that 15 matches of the last season were played in Eden Gardens of Kolkata and Arun Jaitley Stadium of Delhi and other major cities of the country. India Capitals won the first franchise season played in September 2022. According to sources, the retention policy of the teams along with the new player draft pool will be announced soon. 

The league will add more players this season, making it more competitive and entertaining for the spectators. 

During the last season in Doha, some of the top players who have retired from international cricket – Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Hashim Amla, Ross Taylor, Chris Gayle among others played with Legends League Cricket and they took the level of cricket to new heights.
