Ranchi: Jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had been sent to AIIMS New Delhi for further treatment after a decision in this regard has been taken by the medical board.
Director of RIMS Dr Kameshwar Paswan said the condition of Lalu Yadav was declining and his heart and kidney had been impacted. He said that on a previous occasion also he was also sent to AIIMS New Delhi and now again he has been sent to a higher center.
The Director said that the medical board had already made its decision and the final call was taken by the jail authorities. However, the sooner he reaches New Delhi it will be better for him.
The doctors treating Lalu Yadav said that the kidney was being continuously damaged. Lalu Yadav was taken to New Delhi by a chartered flight and was being accompanied by his daughter Misa Bharati and close associate Bhola Yadav.
