Lalu lawyers to approach HC to transfer couple of cases

Ranchi, Aug 4 :  Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav appeared before the special CBI court here in connection with four different cases in the multi crore fodder scam case.

Mr Yadav appeared before the court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh in connection with case number RC 64A/96 and case number 38 A/96.    He also appeared in the court of special judge S S Prasad in connection with case number RC 68A/96. Later Mr Yadav also appeared in the court of special CBI judge Pradeep Kumar in case number RC 47A/96.

During the day the counsel of Mr Yadav filed a petition in the court of CBI judge Shivpal Singh in which he urged that the hearing of case number RC 64A/96 and RC 38A/96 be transferred to some other court.

The lawyer of Mr Yadav Prabhat Kumar said in that in the court of Justice Singh the statements of witnesses from Mr Yadav’s side were not being correctly recorded. Mr Prabhat Kumar said that on Monday he would be filing a petition in the Jharkhand High Court demanding that these two cases be transferred to some other court.
