Koderma district administration orders barricading in bordering areas after man tests positive for Coronavirus

Koderma: After a man tested positive for coronavirus the district administration has decided to put up barricading along with its border with the neighbouring Giridih district.

The patient hails from Raj Dhanwar block of Giridih district and has been currently admitted at the dedicated Covid-19 Hospital in the district. Koderma DC Ramesh Gholap and SP Dr M Tamilvahnan visited the Jahandih village located on the boarding areas of Koderma and Giridih district and issued necessary instructions to the BDO and the CEO. They directed that on the bordering areas barricading should be done apart from that all such areas should be also sanitized.

The DC has asked the people not to get panic and also do not fall prey to any rumours. He has asked the people to maintain social distance when they step out of their homes and has asked them to wear a mask whenever they come out of their homes. He said that in case any person has any of the symptoms related to coronavirus then they should immediately get in touch with their nearest Community Health Care Centre or report to the Sadar Hospital.

He also asked the people to extend cooperation to the screening teams and the other members of district administration.
