Kishori Samriddhi Yojana: There is no compromise on the rights of daughters: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Following the order of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, District Social Welfare Officer, Godda Anisha Kujur was suspended with immediate effect. He is accused of not providing the benefits of the scheme to the beneficiary girls of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana on time and of being negligent towards his responsibilities and being disobedient and indifferent to the government instructions given earlier.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren was interacting with the children and the beneficiaries who came to the camps organized in various Panchayats during the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ program organized at Pathargama in Godda. In this sequence, some beneficiary girls of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana have complained to the Chief Minister that they are not getting the benefits of the said scheme.

The Chief Minister took this very seriously and ordered to suspend the District Social Welfare Officer with immediate effect. The Chief Minister said that there should be no compromise on the rights given to daughters.

It is known that Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana is an important scheme of the state government, under which financial assistance is provided to the eligible adolescent girls of the state for empowerment, education, health, eradication of child marriage and making them capable of taking independent decisions.
