Ranchi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who arrived in Ranchi to attend the party’s ‘Save the Constitution’ rally, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The meeting took place at BNR Chanakya in Ranchi. Also present were the Chief Minister’s wife and Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren, along with Congress General Secretary K. C. Venugopal.
This marked Kharge’s first visit to Jharkhand since the formation of the government under Hemant Soren’s leadership. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed several issues concerning both the state and the nation. Topics included the Chief Minister’s recent foreign trip, the terror attack in Pahalgam, and various other matters related to Jharkhand.
During his visit, Kharge also launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that a report had been sent to the PM three days before the Pahalgam attack, yet he cancelled his Kashmir visit.
