Joint team of Jharkhand and Karnataka Police nabs 20 cyber criminals from various districts

Ranchi, Jul 19: A joint team of the Jharkhand and Karnataka Police have arrested 20 cyber criminals from various districts of the state with majority of them being arrested from Jamtara district.

The Karnataka Police had got information that all activities of cyber fraud were being carried from Jamtara after which they got in touch with the Jharkhand Police and conducted the joint operation in high these 20 criminals were nabbed.

 

Ranchi SSP Kuldeep Dwivedi said that all these cyber criminals have been brought to Ranchi and have been kept at Jaggannathpur Police Station where they are being interrogated. These criminal criminals have been accused of duping money of several people of Karnataka.

Apart from Jamtara, these cyber criminals were arrested from Giridih, Bokaro and Ranchi. Police sources said that Karnatak Police may take these criminals on remand and take them to Karnataka.
