Guv asks all departments to work in coordination for progress of state

Ranchi, Jul 19: Governor Draupadi Murmu has asked officials of all the departments to work in coordination for the welfare of the people so that the state can achieve new heights of development.

The Governor chaired a meeting with the senior officials of the government during which she reviewed the progress in execution of various schemes which are being run by the various departments for the development and upliftment of the primitive tribes, SC/STs, OBCs and Minorities in the state.

During the review meeting she laid thrust on seriously executing the schemes under Skill Development Programmes and said that children be provided quality tratining under the scheme so that they can get jobs. The Governor also laid stress inb construction of check dams and directed to speed up work in this regard.

Those present in the meeting also included  Welfare Minister Louis Marandi, Development Commissioner Amit Khare, Principal Secretary to the Governor S K Sathpathy and senior officials of Rural Development Department, Social Welfare, Higher anbd Technical Education, HRD, Labour, Skill Development and other departments.
