Ranchi : Jharkhand Mukti Morcha warned the Central Investigation Agency Enforcement Directorate that its action has angered the people of Jharkhand. If they delay in understanding the warning, there will be serious consequences.
Addressing a press conference at the party office on Tuesday, JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the time of 3-6 months in the election year 2024 is very important. Political parties promote their achievements. The process of Lok Sabha elections will be completed by the month of May. Just before this, the action of central agencies in the state raises many questions.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that earlier opposition parties were intimidated in the name of religion and sect and that has been replaced by ED. He said that the fear of central agencies is being shown to the opposition parties. He said that Model Code of Conduct was imposed in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan Assembly elections, despite this the action of ED and CBI continued.
He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party got the direct benefit of the action of the central agencies. Same thing is being done in Jharkhand. Supriyo Bhattacharya said that how the information about the actions of ED and CBI comes out is a big question. Information about such actions should not be made public. When things become public, it will definitely be said that the state government is being harassed.
He said that there is anger among the people of the state regarding the action of ED, CBI or IT. ED is creating confusion. ED issued summons on August 14 even though they knew how busy the Chief Minister is on this day. ED raided but does not clearly tell what was found from whose place. He said that we are being forced to fight a political battle with the ED.
Earlier, Congress Party’s working president Bandhu Tirkey had also said that there is anger among the tribals due to the action of ED. Tribal people hunt. ED should remain alert. He said that BJP does not tolerate tribal Chief Ministers. ED wants to harass and destabilize the government in any way possible. This is a difficult time for us.
