Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court to ban electoral bonds. JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that March 13 will be a historic day.

The Supreme Court has ordered the Election Commission to upload the details of the amount received by various political parties through electoral bonds on its website by March 13. In this regard, JAMM spokesperson further said that information about money received through electoral bonds was kept out of the scope of RTI from the beginning. This was a wrong decision of the BJP government at the Centre.

He said that the people of the country have the right to know which people or which company has given how much money as donation to which party. Justifying the decision to ban electoral bonds, Supriyo further said that this will help in knowing who are the sellers and buyers of the country.

He said that the BJP government has made a rule not to make public the information related to this. From this anyone can know what Sena Jori is. If anyone wants to learn to strengthen his chest, he should learn from the BJP.

Supriyo further said that the BJP government can issue an ordinance to stop the Supreme Court decision. Supriyo said that when the Election Commission will publish the details of funds received by political parties on its website on March 13, many faces will be exposed.

The country will come to know about those people who have bought the government and influenced its policies through electoral bonds on March 13. Also said that this will remove the mask from the faces of people like Ambani and Adani. The Supreme Court has given time till March 6 to SBI to provide all the information related to electoral bonds. SBI will give this information to the Election Commission, after which the Commission will have to upload it on its website by March 13.
