Ranchi: JMM’s Central General Secretary cum Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya fiercely targeted BJP.
He accused Jharkhand of being neglected in the swearing-in ceremony held in Delhi on Sunday.
He said that Jharkhand did not get its fair share in the cabinet.
Raising questions on Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, he said that such an MP was made a minister who did not raise a single question on the closed HEC.
Supriyo Bhattacharya accused BJP of ignoring and disrespecting AJSU.
He said that MPs from each party were given ministerial posts but AJSU’s Chandra Prakash Choudhary was deprived of the ministerial post.
He said that AJSU is an old ally of BJP, it is a local party but it was not given the post of minister.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that big leaders of Jharkhand BJP are not happy with the swearing-in.
He said that only a symbolic celebration was celebrated on Sunday.
He said that there was silence in BJP’s Ranchi office.
There was no presence of any state leader.
He said that out of 240 BJP MPs, only 115 MPs are from BJP, the rest are from other parties.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that a total of 7 seats are vacant in the Union Cabinet.
He demanded from BJP that out of these 7 posts, one cabinet minister and one minister of state with independent charge should be given to Jharkhand.
A total of 72 ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy in the Modi cabinet held on Sunday.
Among these, Koderma MP from Jharkhand Annapurna Devi has been made Cabinet Minister, while Ranchi MP has been made Minister of State.
