TPC Naxalite Birbal Ganjhu got bail from High Court

Ranchi: Naxalite Birbal Ganjhu of banned militant organization TPC (Third Presentation Committee), accused of terror funding, has got bail from the High Court.

His bail plea was heard in the bench of High Court judges Justice Rangoon Mukhopadhyay and Justice Rajesh Kumar.

Birbal has been in judicial custody for more than four years.

NIA had exposed the entire game of levy collection due to nexus between the operators of the transportation company working in Magadh-Amrapali coal project and TPC.

When NIA took over the investigation of the case registered in Tandwa police station of Chatra district, many revelations were made in it.

According to the NIA chargesheet, the operators of the transportation companies and the TPC militants had joined hands.

In this case, TPC extremists Anvesh ji, Vinod Ganjhu, Birbal Ganjhu, Kohram ji, Bindu Ganjhu, businessman Amit Agarwal alias Sonu Agarwal, Vineet Agarwal, Sudesh Kedia, Mahesh Agarwal and others are accused.
