Jharkhand state level men and women Chief Minister Invitation Football Cup competition concluded

Ranchi: The closing ceremony of the three-day Jharkhand State Level Men and Women Chief Minister Invitation Football Cup Competition was attended by Minister of Tourism, Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Department Mohammad Hafizul Hasan Ansari.

On National Youth Day cum Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, the departmental minister garlanded and offered flowers on the portrait of Vivekananda.

Minister Mohammad Hafizul Hasan Ansari honored all the winning players by giving them cash, medals and trophies.

After that, eleven talented players from the entire state were honored with cash prizes under the Khiladi Samman Rashi Scheme.

The players were honored by giving them financial assistance under the Players Welfare Fund and seven coaches/players were given financial assistance under the Skill Development Scheme for the coaches and players to do various courses.

In the women’s category of the competition, Ranchi district won the first place by defeating West Singhbhum 2-0 in a hard-fought match.

East Singhbhum district stood at the third place and Ranchi district was the runner-up at the fourth place.

In the final of the men’s category, Dhanbad district defeated Ranchi district.

Became the winner by defeating 1-0 in a hard-fought match.

Pakur district stood third and Lohardaga district stood fourth.

In the men’s category, the best player award went to Manish Murmu of Dhanbad district and the best goalkeeper award went to Vicky Kumar of Ranchi district.

While in the women’s category, the best player award was given to Poonam Kumari of Ranchi district and the best goalkeeper award was given to Lakshmi Murmu of West Singhbhum district.
