Jharkhand Law University should be the best in the world: Raghubar

Ranchi, Aug 1: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has asked for making collective efforts so that the Jharkhand Law University becomes the Best Law University of the World.

Addressing the students during the orientation programme ORGANISED BY National University of Study and Research in Law here he said that government will do all the work which fall in its ambit and asked the teachers and the students to work to make it world class. He said that any work which is done with good intentions and thoughts is always fulfilled.

He said that among the four pillars democracy judiciary has a very important role to play and justice should reach to every home. He said that when judiciary will reach the uneducated and backward areas than their faith on justice will increase. He suggested the students to visit the near by villages during the vacations and take stock of implementation of the government schemes and interact with the villagers and file a report and send the same to the state government which will be later properly implemented.

He also asked the students to give time to internships under a lawyer also visit courts to see the cases as it would add to their experiences. Mr Das said that there was need of legal professionals in every field and asked the students to use the opportunity to work for the needy. He also advocated them to adopt discipline in life as it was a tool to success.

Those present also included acting chief justice of Jharkhand HC D N Patel, Justice Apresh Singh, Director of Judicial Academy Gautam Kumar Chowdhary and Dean of Faculty Sangeeta Laha.
