Ranchi: The Home Jail and Disaster Management Department has allocated Rs 14.30 crore for the salary and uniform allowance of Chowkidar-Dafadar.
This amount has been allocated for the financial year 2023-24. The amount will be withdrawn from the district treasuries of the respective districts.
The Home Department has ordered the DCs of the districts to ensure that the salaries of the watchmen and dafadars are paid on time.
