Jharkhand gets extra doses of vaccine: Center provides additional 58,590 doses of Covxin to Jharkhand

Ranchi: The Central Government has provided additional 58,590 doses of Covaxin to Jharkhand.

After the vaccines got over in the state on Tuesday itself the information was given to the central government.  After this, the Central Government has provided 58,590 vaccine doses to Jharkhand in addition to the vaccine doses received in the month of June.

It has been sent to the districts on Wednesday.  According to health officials, after getting the vaccine, now a vaccination campaign will be conducted on July 1.  However, there is still a lack of vaccines in Jharkhand.  On average, more than one lakh vaccines were being administered daily in the state.

Due to the lack of vaccines, only 40 to 50 thousand vaccine doses are being administered.  According to officials, Jharkhand is expected to get six lakh vaccine doses on July 2.  After this, the vaccination campaign in the state will go on at a normal pace.

District wise Vaccine Received Bokaro 1500, Chatra 0, Deoghar 2000, Dhanbad 4500 Dumka 3750, East Singhbhum 4500, Garhwa 1000, Giridih 3000, Godda 1150, Gumla 2000, Hazaribagh 5800, Jamtara 1200, Khunti 1500, Koderma 1140, Latehar 1000, Lohardaga 2250, Pakur 2000, Palamu 5800 Ramgarh 2000, Ranchi 5400 Sahebganj 1000, Seraikela 1900,  1200 West Singhbhum 3000 (Total 58590).
