Ranchi: The Jharkhand cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister gave approval for several proposals including to include Transgender in the list of backward classes. The proposals that have been given approval are the following –
★ Chief Minister State Social Security Pension Scheme for transgender/third gender persons was approved under the State Scheme under the Social Assistance Programme. Approval was given on the Recruitment and Service Conditions Rules 2023 for appointment to the ex-cadre post of Director, AYUSH, Jharkhand.
★ Administrative approval was given for the estimate of only Rs. 6344.56 lakh (sixty-three crore forty-four lakh fifty-six thousand) for the restoration work including concreting of Ichagarh branch canal under Kanchi Irrigation Scheme.
★ Total area underlying various plots of Account No. 02, 110, 164 and 100 of Ranchi District Zone – Nagdi, Mauza- Mudma, Police Station No. 229 – 1. 498 acres of land received by the State Government from HEC, total amount due Rs. 10 Approval was given to give paid permanent land transfer to State Bank of India for the construction of office building of State Bank of India (SBI) on payment of only Rs.71,62,988/- (Ten Crore Seventy One Lakh Sixty Two Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Eighth).
★ Approval was given for the formation of Stenographer’s Appointment (Recruitment) and Promotion (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
★ Approval was given to determine the fees of the Special Public Prosecutor working in the District Civil Courts.
★ Ex-gratia compensation grant to police personnel/ other government servants and Central Paramilitary Force personnel deputed/ working in the state of Jharkhand who are injured in violent activities/ unfortunate accidents while discharging their duties other than election-related work and become permanently handicapped/ disabled (Ex- Approval was given to amend the estimated amount of Gratia Lump-Sum Compensation.
★ Approval was given for amendment in Jharkhand State Police Radio Junior Inspector Wires (Wireless Sub Inspector) Cadre Recruitment Rules (Recruitment Method), 2016.
★ Approval was given to designate Additional Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi-II as a Special Judge to take cognizance of the suits registered under The Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019 and hear it.
★ For simplification and updating of Jharkhand Finance Rules, two experts were given permission to allocate work on nomination basis by relaxing Rule 235 of Finance Rules under Rule 245.
★ In the light of the recommendation of the Jharkhand High Court, the proposal to appoint 28 (twenty-eight) judicial officers of Civil Judge (Senior Division) level by promotion to the post of District Judge in Jharkhand Senior Judicial Service was approved. Cont. . Case no. 735/2021 dated – 11. In compliance with the order passed on 11.2022, all the eligible retired teachers of the universities/affiliated colleges of the state, dated – 01.01. Approval was given to pay a total of 6% interest on the difference amount of pension outstanding from 2006 to 31.03.2010.
★ Partial amendment in the financial limit delegated to the previously notified competent authority for approval of new schemes was approved.
