Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren Wednesday participated in the Shri Krishna Janmotsav and Dahi Handi competition organized by the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Organizing Committee, Ranchi at Morhabadi Ground.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that despite the bad weather and rain, the enthusiasm of the devotees present here has successfully completed the Shri Krishna Janmotsav and Dahi Handi competition. “ I thank all the devotees present here for participating in this program. Like every year, this year too I have got the opportunity to participate in this program organized on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary.
Today, Shri Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated with great pomp in the country and outside the country also. Today, on this auspicious occasion, programs are being organized by big groups at many places within the state, devotees of Lord Shri Krishna are also celebrating this festival with great devotion at their homes” said Soren.
He said “ This festival is a festival of unwavering faith and devotion towards Lord Shri Krishna. Chief Minister said that today on the occasion of Shri Krishna’s birth anniversary, I extend my best wishes to the state and the countrymen. I have full confidence that in the coming years too, we all will celebrate Shri Krishna Janmotsav and Dahi Handi program with strength and enthusiasm.
