Mumbai: Bollywood icons Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff sent fans down memory lane as they reunited on the sets of comedian Kapil Sharma’s show The Great Indian Kapil Show. The moment that stole hearts was Jackie’s chivalrous gesture as he kissed Madhuri’s hand, instantly evoking nostalgia from the 1990s era.
Their appearance together brought back memories of their iconic on-screen collaborations. In a video from the show, Madhuri is seen exuding elegance in a black off-shoulder midi dress adorned with bold red floral prints, paired with classic black heels and minimal jewellery. Jackie, staying true to his trademark style, opted for an all-black ensemble, layered with a jacket featuring subtle patterned detailing on the cuffs.
Jackie was also seen warmly kissing Madhuri’s hand in a gentlemanly gesture, after which the two posed together for photographers and paparazzi present on the set.
For the uninitiated, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff have shared screen space in several memorable films, including Ram Lakhan, Khalnayak, 100 Days and Prem Deewane, all of which continue to enjoy cult status among fans.
In several past interviews, Jackie has openly admitted to having a huge crush on Madhuri during the 1990s. During her prime, Madhuri was widely regarded as Bollywood’s “dream girl,” admired not only by audiences but also by her contemporaries in the industry.

Talking about her filmography, Madhuri has been part of several blockbuster films such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Dil, Beta, Anjaam and Tezaab. Equally iconic are her dance numbers, including Ek Do Teen, Dhak Dhak Karne Laga, Chane Ke Khet Mein, Mera Piya Ghar Aaya and Choli Ke Peeche. Her collaboration with legendary choreographer Saroj Khan played a pivotal role in earning her the title of Bollywood’s iconic dancing queen.
On the personal front, Madhuri married Dr. Shriram Nene and stepped away from films at the peak of her career. She spent nearly a decade in the United States before returning to India and making her comeback with Aaja Nachle.
