JAC Matriculation-Inter Examination Center will be held in 1400 centers

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council ( JAC) has almost completed the preparations for this year’s Matric-Inter examination in which this year eight lakh students are likely take the exam in 1400 centers of the state.

This year the matriculation examination will be conducted in the centers set up at the block level. At the same time, subdivision-level centers have been set up for Inter examination. After determining the examination centers from all the districts, the report has been sent to the Jharkhand Academic Council.

This year less examination centers have been set up as compared to last year. Last year a total of 1936 examination centers were made. Due to covid, the number of examination centers was increased last year. This year the centers have been determined like before. 

According to the statistics of the Jharkhand Academic Council, the maximum number of children are going to appear in the matriculation examination this year. Around 4.50 lakh candidates will appear in the matriculation exam and 3.50 lakh candidates in the intermediate. In this way, about eight lakh candidates will appear in the matriculation-inter examination of the year 2023. This year the number of candidates has increased as compared to last year in both matriculation and intermediate examinations. 

Jharkhand Academic Council has released the exam schedule. The matriculation and intermediate exams are starting from March 14. This year the exam will be conducted on the basis of a 100 percent syllabus. The evaluation of the answer sheet will start in April, while the result will be released by June 15.

The matriculation exam will be held in the first shift and the intermediate exam in the second shift. There are many such exam centers as well where there will be both matriculation and intermediate examination. Matriculation and Inter exams will be held at 159 centers in Ranchi. 102 examination centers have been set up for matriculation and 57 for intermediate examination.

About 82 thousand candidates will appear in the matriculation and intermediate examination from Ranchi. This year more than matriculation candidates are in inter. Special classes will be conducted for the matriculation and intermediate students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and Jharkhand Girls Residential School. JCERT has issued a letter in this regard as part of which it will conduct special classes.
