JAC declares 10th and 12th Science Board results: 95.38 pc students in matric and 81.45 pc in intermediate pass, CM extends best wishes

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Tuesday released the results of the 10th and 12th Science Board Exams in which 95.38 percent of children have achieved success in matriculation examinations and 81.45 percent in inter-science examinations. 

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has extended his best wishes to the students for passing the exam and has hoped that all of them scale new heights in their lives. He has also extended his congratulations to their parents and teachers. K Ravi Kumar, Secretary, School Education and Literacy Department, released the result. During this, Director of Secondary Education Sunil Kumar, Chairman of JAC, Dr AK Mahto, Vice Chairman of JAC Dr Vinod Singh and Secretary of JAC MK Singh were also present.

Students can check their results by visiting the official website of JAC at jacresults.com or jac.jharkhand.gov.in. In 10th board exam, 68.32 percent of students have passed with the first division whereas 39.25 percent students have passed with the second division and 2.72 percent with the third division.

On the other hand, 90.60 percent of students have secured their first division in the Inter-Science board examination. At the same time, 7.63 percent of students have passed from the second division and 0.02 percent of students from the third division.

Divya Kumari was the science topper scoring 479 marks. Khushi Kumari has secured second, and Priyanka Ghosh third. At the same time, Shreya Songiri was the topper in the matriculation examination by scoring 490 marks. Apart from this, Sourav Kumar Paul secured the second position and Diksha Bharti third.

The JAC class 10th exam was conducted from March 14 to April 3 and the Class 12th exams were held from March 14 to April 5. 1225 examination centres were made for the 10th examination and 724 for the intermediate examination. 7.68 lakh candidates had registered for the Jharkhand Board 10th and 12th exams. Out of which about 4.34 lakh candidates appeared in class 10th and about 3.34 lakh candidates appeared in class 12th exams.
